Maria Agisian
Maria Agisian (b. 1988, Chernivtsi) is an artist whose practice engages with embodiment, process, and personal narratives, combining visual and research-based approaches.
She explores the body as a carrier of memory, working with processual and unstable forms of knowledge. Everyday practices, notes, and sketchbooks play an important role in her work as tools for investigation.
Her approach is often grounded in intimate experience, which unfolds gradually through material, gesture, and repetition.
