Lera Elur is an artist from Mariupol, Ukraine. Currently lives and works in Graz, Austria. During the 2022-2023 she was an Artist in Residence at Kulturvermittlung Steiermark, and took part in 5 group exhibitions in Austria. In her art practice Lera has transitioned from digital illustration and animation to relief printing. She works with linocut, woodcut, monotype and other printing techniques. Her works focus on topics such as femininity, nature and our relationship with it, human feelings, instability of the world and impermanence of life, also her life experience and war in Ukraine.
