Natalia Sherstyuk was born in Shostka, and studied at the Kharkiv Academy of Design and Arts, in Kharkiv, where she lived most of her life before the full-scale invasion.
“I adore books and work mainly with them. Everything, from illustration, design, and typesetting to paper selection, is incredibly fascinating. I drew illustrations for many books for Ukrainian publishing houses and even some for Viennese publishing houses. I work in digital and letterpress printing techniques.
Searching for “my place” and “ground under my feet” is the main topic of my thoughts at the moment, and I tried to embody it in graphic sheets.”
