Kamila Davlyatshina “Intervallum”

 

 

Kamila Davlyatshina is an artist and photographer from the city of Shakhtarsk, Donetsk region. She studied at the Donetsk Art School. In the summer of 2014 she moved to Kharkiv. Since 2015 – a student of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. In 2017 – 2020 – a teacher at the art center Azanizimaza. In 2018 she received a grant to study at Chekachkov academy.
The Intervallum project is dedicated to Alena, the author’s friend, and consists of photographic portraits and metaphorical images. The story told by the artist raises the question of the vector in the system of values, when a person is fighting for his life.
Intervallum is the first of the seven exhibitions of the project “The First Exhibition”, which took place in 127  garage in the summer and autumn of 2020. As part of the project, we help young artists who do not yet have exhibition experience to prepare and hold their first exhibition. “The First Exhibition” was supported by the European Union under the program “House of Europe”.
